Advance Booking BETA is now available in Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City and for airport rides in Metro Manila and Klang Valley. When we first enabled users to schedule rides on the Grab app in 2019, we found that both passengers and driver-partners were worried about last minute cancellations. So we've worked on a series of enhancements to make scheduled pickups more reliable than before. From fine-tuning our allocation system to optimising earnings for our driver-partners, we’re pulling out all the stops to ensure passengers will get their Advance Booking ride on time, every time. We are honoured to share that Grab has received the NSMark (Gold) accreditation 🌟, recognizing our commitment to supporting Singapore's National Service and Total Defence. The NSMark (Gold) honours organisations that demonstrate significant support for National Service through effective policies and HR practices that aid employees fulfilling their duties. In Singapore, National Service is a pivotal part of our national defence, requiring all eligible male Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents to serve in either the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), or Singapore Police Force (SPF). After completing full-time service, individuals continue to serve in Operationally Ready National Service (ORNS) for up to 40 days annually until they reach the age of 50 (for officers) or 40 (for other ranks). As a committed employer in Singapore, Grab ensures that the work responsibilities of our National Servicemen are well managed during their service periods. We are dedicated to supporting our employees’ contributions to National Service and will continue to enhance our practices to support our NSmen employees effectively. #GrabSingapore
